Since my first article on publishing an e-book to Amazon's Kindle (Converting for Kindle), some things have changed with the Amazon DTP (Digital Text Platform). Instead of uploading a zip file with an HTML document and other digital files to be included, there is now the option to upload a Word document. This was good news to me because I had already been working with Word documents and uploading them to Smashwords.com.

This process was actually quite easy. My boss, the irrefutable Zen Comma master of the universe, David Bowman, asked a couple of years back, "Hey, have you heard of Smashwords? Let's publish our e-books through them, also." Oh boy, I thought, here we go.

Smashwords's Founder Mark Coker published an e-book of his own, "Smashwords Style Guide, how to format your e-book." It is about 88 pages of Microsoft Word formatting horror. After having gone through all of Smashwords's dos and don'ts, I was able to apply the formatting requirements to Word documents I wanted to upload to Amazon-Kindle.

Millions of individuals all across the United States, who have a passion for writing, have began writing their own e-books.  A large portion of these individuals have been able to sell their e-books to the public and as a result have become quite successful doing so.  However, this is an endeavor that can be quite daunting if you are not willing to dedicate yourself, but there is no doubt that there is money to be made with private label resell rights.

While you are looking for a individual who is willing to sell the resell rights of their e-book, there are a couple of things you will need to keep in mind such as knowing how important it is to ask for a copy of the e-book prior to purchasing the resell rights.  It is no secret that at times the cost of purchasing the resell rights of a product can be quite expensive, which is why it is so important you are sure the product you are purchasing is a marketable product in which you can profit off of.  Be sure to do this prior to proceeding with any part of a deal.

With today's developed modern technology finding information on any subject is easy. The easiest way for obtaining information is probably through eBooks. Ebooks are digital versions of hard copy books. The only difference between eBooks and hard copy books is that eBooks can be read on computers and digital gadgets known as eReaders.
