8 New Korean Society Journals To Join Springer Portfolio

Digital Ebook: Springer, one of the world's leading STM publishers, has signed publishing agreements with eight South Korean scientific societies during the past half year. With this move, Springer will be the publisher of a representative selection of Korean society journals and confirms its long tradition of dedication to publishing the increasing amount of research coming from Asia.

Agreements to start publishing their journals in 2008 were signed with the Korean Society of Civil Engineers, the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Korean Fiber Society, the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers, the Pharmaceutical Society of Korea, the Korean Society for Biotechnology and Bioengineering, the Korean Society of Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and the Microbiological Society of Korea.
