Why EBooks cannot make it to the end of this decade?
The Internet now is seemingly seeing a battle of the David versus Goliath, as far as EBooks are concerned. Almost every other webmaster seems to find selling Ebooks on the Internet a lucrative business opportunity. The idea being - People are always on the lookout for information, and Ebooks thus will answer their queries.
Coming to think of it, there is only a limited set of information that you can provide on a topic. Assume you are writing technical Ebooks on SEO, what all can you provide? You could look at including some optimizing codes, ADWORDS, Keyword optimization, and that's it really. Unless you have something really new to look at, you will find the whole Ebook talking of the same aspect some other Ebook has already spoken about.
The value for money for the readers in such a condition is absolute zero.
The same case with Trading Ebooks - Whatever you may think of, stock traders or market traders almost have the same set of charts and same techniques to play around with. At the most, you can have about 5-10 Ebooks good enough to cover all the fundamentals of stock trading. Anything more is a mere eyewash, because those Ebooks will all be repetitive stuff.
PLR Ebooks seem to make a lot of noises these days. This is a mere marketing gimmick to sell Ebooks. It is almost like selling a Vanilla Icecream in a different way as opposed to the conventional way of selling in a cup or a cone. At the end of the day, the heart of the Ice-cream or rather the flavor of it, still remains the same - It has Vanilla, that's it!
Now, this is not to say that if you have thought of writing Ebooks, they would not work. If you have a concept that you want to share with people out there, and people don't know about it, then you are welcome to do so. In most such cases, you will find people liking your book in a big way. That said, you must really ensure your book has something different to offer, else people might just trash your Ebook.
