Probably, for the most part when we think of creating an ebook we think of doing it for profit. Maybe a good idea would be to create a short 10-12 page ebook and give it away. The heck you say! Why would I want to give away my hard earned work for nothing. Well in a word, or two, ?public relations.?

Why not? If you are an internet marketer and you write articles you probably have tons of good information at your beck and call. You could gather some of that information and create a short ebook and give it away to your subscriber list if you have one.

There are those of us who have a business or are trying to create one in internet marketing. Because I.M. has a broad base of related subjects it is important for us to know something about all of them. If you go into affiliate marketing for example you are probably going to have to familiarize yourself with associative parts of the business.

For example, you'll eventually learn about websites, article writing, ebooks, autoresponders, list building, email marketing, ezine publishing, PPC advertising, product creation, etc. If you write multiple articles on all these subjects, you will have a wealth of information at your fingertips.

Just pick out one subject and write about that. Don't try and overlap, unless you're giving a broad outline of internet marketing. Make sure what you are writing about is of value to your reader. If you write something inferior, your reader will pick up on it and it could impact any future ebooks you might consider.

If you don't know how to put an ebook together, there is plenty of information on the subject. I have seen both free and charged for materials on the internet.
